Lymebrave Foundation LymeLife food services banner for nutrition support and meal assistance resources

Don’t have the energy to cook meals or make a trip to the grocery store? We've been there. Chronic illness can make even simple daily tasks feel overwhelming, which is why we’ve compiled a list of meal and grocery delivery resources designed to make life a little easier.

Today, many restaurants offer takeout meals with larger portions that can be refrigerated or frozen for later use, helping reduce the stress of daily meal preparation throughout the week. Grocery stores and delivery services also now offer convenient options such as home delivery, curbside pickup, and same-day grocery delivery.

Services such as grocery delivery apps, meal delivery programs, and restaurant delivery platforms can help provide easier access to food when energy is limited or leaving home isn’t possible.

Check with your local grocery stores and restaurants to see which delivery or pickup options are available in your area.

Please note: each company has its own pricing, payment policies, fees, and terms of service. Unless otherwise specified, government food assistance programs may not cover the cost of delivery services or delivery fees. Availability may vary depending on location.

Lasagna Love

When we first stumbled across this organization, we had two thoughts:

1) This is exactly what the Lyme community needs to help patients with little energy or financial resources.

2) This is exactly the kind of community support the world needs more of.

Founded on the belief that everyone deserves kindness, dignity, and support, Lasagna Love is a global nonprofit and grassroots movement that brings neighbors together through the simple act of sharing a meal. Whether someone is navigating illness, financial hardship, caregiving responsibilities, or a particularly difficult season of life, their volunteer network offers practical support without judgment or qualifications.

Lasagna Love connects individuals and families in need with local volunteers (United States, Canada, and Australia) who prepare and deliver homemade meals at no cost.

At LymeBrave Foundation, we know that asking for help isn't always easy. Sometimes a warm meal can also offer comfort, relief, and a reminder that you're not alone.
